Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is smoking allowed?

A: Smoking indoors is not allowed. You may smoke in all outside areas, including balconies and verandas.

Q: Can I bring my dog or cat with me?

A: Yes, pets are welcome. Please let us know in advance.

Q: Will we need a car?

A: Well...yes and no. The villa and the surrounding area are nice enough that you could happily spend your whole time there. On the other hand, Aegina is such a beautiful place that it would be a shame to miss seeing everything.

If you would like to rent a car, we can help with that, too. We have teamed up with a car rental company and are able to pre-negotiate excellent prices for you, that you would probably not know to get on your own.

This is not something we profit from. You will not be renting the car from us, nor will we be pocketing any sort of commission or referal fee.

As prices vary wildly depending on season and availabilitiy, please let us know in advance, and we will try to strike the best deal for you.

Please note that we will be able to help you with the initial offer, but from then on you will be dealing with the rental agency directly.

Q: Are there more photos?

A: Try this web gallery on Picasa for more shots of the villa, or this one for shots of the Island in general (more on Flickr).

Q: Why no pool?

A: Quite frankly, there is no need for one. We see pools as a consolation prize if you are far away from the beach. A pool also gives you something nice to look at, if the house has no view. If your idea of a dream vacation on a Greek island it to rent a house inland, sit on a veranda and stare at a pool, then this villa may not be for you. Besides, you're right on the sea, and that's chlorine-free.

Q: I have a thousand more questions, can you cover them all?

A: Most definitively. Contact us and we'll get back to you as soon as humanly possible with all the answers.

Q: It all looks good, but will the catch be in the price?

A: We certainly don't think so. This is not a rental property where people stream in and out to create maximum profit. We are not looking to squeeze every possible penny out of it. It is our house, we have enjoyed the best times of our lives in it and we still do. Unfortunately our work in Athens only allows us to enjoy it for a few days every year. So we want to share it with others who will appreciate it, and at the same time the revenue helps us pay for its considerable expenses (mostly tax nowadays!).

We will be able to quote you after you enquire (with no obligation).
